Before arriving at the wonderful historic center of Castelbuono, you will be fascinated by the scenic beauty of the Madonie Park, with vast expanses of olive groves, vineyards and prickly pear trees.

Our guided tour will begin with a pleasant walk to the Market, where we will have the opportunity to taste the best Madonie cheeses: Primo sale, pecorino and cacio cavallo. We will reach the historic center, through typical peaks, until to arrive at Piazza Castello, famous for the Ventimiglia Castle, completely renovated, where inside we can admire the baroque "Chapel of S. Anna" with the famous stuccos of the great Serpotta artists (extra ticket to entry). We will continue to Piazza Margherita and we will stop in front of the ancient Matrice Vecchia.

Internal visit of the Matrice Vecchia to be enchanted by the charm of the Crypt, rich in frescoes with scenes from the Passion of Christ, the Last Supper and the Resurrection. The excursion will end with the tasting of panettones, nougat and liqueur.

At 12.30 am  meeting with your tour guide and return to Cefalu '.
